Our Story
In Jessica’s Memory was founded by parents Karla and Gareth Marrow following the heartbreaking loss of their baby girl, Jessica, who was born sleeping at 37 weeks on 15 May 2024.
Experiencing the devastating reality of baby loss first-hand gave Karla and Gareth an understanding of the emotional and practical challenges families can face during bereavement. Alongside the overwhelming grief, there can be difficult decisions to make, funeral arrangements to consider and the desire to create something meaningful in memory of a much-loved baby.
From their own experience, In Jessica’s Memory was created to ensure other families do not have to navigate these moments without support.
Jessica remains at the heart of everything the charity does. Through her memory, the charity aims to bring comfort, kindness and practical help to families experiencing baby loss, while giving parents and loved ones opportunities to remember and honour their babies in ways that are personal to them.

We go live on our Facebook page on the first Friday of every month at 7pm
Practical Support When Families Need It Most

For many bereaved families, remembrance becomes an important part of carrying their baby’s memory forward.
Birthdays, anniversaries and other significant dates can bring both comfort and renewed grief. In Jessica’s Memory provides ongoing remembrance support for birthdays, helping families acknowledge these important occasions and celebrate the lasting place their baby holds within their lives.
We believe that a baby’s life should never be defined by how long they were here. Their name, their story and the love surrounding them continue to matter.
Through thoughtful remembrance, we hope to help families create lasting connections and meaningful memories that can be treasured for years to come.
